KAYAK is looking for a Senior Analyst, Brand Strategy & Measurement to help build and run measurement programs that evaluate the impact of KAYAK's brand marketing investments across global markets. You'll be a key contributor to how KAYAK understands, measures, and improves brand marketing performance — partnering with marketing, media, analytics, and external measurement partners to generate insights that shape investment decisions and improve business outcomes across regions. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for someone energized by turning complex data into clear stories and who wants their work to have a direct impact on how a global brand grows.
This position is required to work from our Cambridge, MA office 3 days per week.
In this role, you will:
Partner with regional marketing and media teams to define measurement priorities, establish KPIs, build learning agendas, and align measurement approaches with business objectives.
Develop structured testing roadmaps across channels and campaigns, selecting the most appropriate methodologies based on the business question, available budget, and data availability.
Design and support measurement programs including incrementality testing, geo holdouts, brand lift studies, media mix modeling (MMM), and other experimental approaches.
Collaborate across teams to implement measurement plans, monitor progress, and ensure findings are translated into clear, actionable recommendations.
Translate complex analyses into compelling narratives that connect marketing performance to business outcomes and inform future investment decisions.
Partner with external analytics agencies and measurement vendors to define data requirements, ensure successful delivery of data inputs, and support the execution of measurement studies.
Own the day-to-day management and analysis of KAYAK's global brand tracking program, including vendor coordination, study implementation, and insight generation.
Monitor key marketing and business performance indicators, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks across markets.
Conduct analyses to support strategic decision-making, annual planning, performance diagnosis, audience understanding, and investment optimization.
Contribute to the evolution of KAYAK's measurement framework by identifying new methodologies, tools, and opportunities to improve how we understand marketing effectiveness.
Please apply if you have:
4–6 years of experience in marketing analytics, measurement, paid media, strategy, or a related analytical function — ideally within a consumer technology, travel, or digital-first environment; equivalent experience, training, or transferable skills are also considered.
Experience evaluating and optimizing marketing performance across digital and/or offline media channels.
Familiarity with marketing measurement approaches such as incrementality testing, attribution, brand lift studies, or media mix modeling.
Demonstrated ability to use data and analysis to influence business decisions and improve marketing performance.
Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data analysis; experience with Python is a plus.
Familiarity with marketing and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adjust, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or similar tools.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Clear, confident communication skills — you can explain complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A curious, collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in continuously improving how marketing effectiveness is measured and understood.
Experience working with external agencies, research vendors, or measurement partners is a plus.
