KAYAK/momondo, part of Booking Holdings (NASDAQ: BKNG), is a leading travel search engine. With billions of queries across our platforms, we help people find their perfect flight, stay, rental car and vacation package. We’re also transforming business travel with a new corporate travel solution, KAYAK for Business.
As an employee of KAYAK, you will be part of a travel company that operates a portfolio of global metasearch brands including momondo, Cheapflights and HotelsCombined, among others. From start-up to industry leader, innovation is in our DNA and every employee has an opportunity to make their mark. Our focus is on building the best travel search engine to make it easier for everyone to experience the world.
KAYAK’s Organic Growth team, within Marketing SEO, uses travel search data to create timely, data-driven stories for media and public relations. We’re looking for a Data Analyst who can turn raw search signals into clear, reusable datasets, automated pipelines, and easy-to-use dashboards that support global PR and editorial campaigns.
This role will be required to work from our Copenhagen office at least 3 days per week.
In this role, you will:
Receive and scope data requests from PR and local media, then deliver clean, press-ready datasets.
Work with PR and communications partners to shape data angles and check feasibility.
Build and maintain automated SQL/Python pipelines and templates for recurring requests.
Create and maintain self‑service dashboards and lightweight tools (e.g., Superset, Datawrapper, Tableau) so teams can quickly explore trends.
Validate data quality and collaborate with Data Engineering to improve underlying models and delivery.
Document methods and make outputs easy for non-technical audiences to use.
Please apply if you have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
2-4 years of experience in a data analyst, business analyst, marketing analyst, or similar role.
Practical experience working with SQL and extracting/manipulating large datasets.
Hands-on experience in Python (or similar) for data processing and automation.
Familiarity with visualization tools (Superset, Datawrapper, Tableau, or similar).
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex data into clear, media-ready insights.
Comfortable explaining technical decisions to non-technical partners and delivering work on tight timelines.
Nice-to-have:
Experience building reusable pipelines or automation for recurring reports.
Experience working with marketing, search, or travel data.
Experience building lightweight self-serve dashboards.
