KAYAK is seeking a highly-motivated, Strategic Partnerships (Manager) to be part of our NORAM partnerships team. This hybrid role will require both account management and business development. You will manage and sustain strong partner relationships with existing key hotel accounts for our Revato brand in Las Vegas and NORAM region. The position will also be balanced with developing new strategic partnership opportunities for KAYAK across all travel verticals.

To be successful you will have a good understanding of third party distribution and experience / knowledge on how Casino Hotels operate. Hungry and driven with a willingness to take action, the successful candidate can work independently as well as being a strong team player. An excellent communicator, with analytical skills and the ability to work closely with KAYAK's wider teams and stakeholders. You are a self-starter, with entrepreneurial spirit and able to thrive in an agile, dynamic and data-driven environment.

Responsibilities - Revato 50%:

  • Manage and sustain strong partner relationships by providing relevant data insights and high-quality consulting services to key hotel partners (revenue management advice and marketing opportunities)

  • Ensure segment mix is balanced for each market when setting acquisition targets....IE: Segment mix (budget/mid-market/VR/high end) meets demand.

  • Ensure that partner hotels’ products (content, rates and availability) are consistently optimized on the Revato extranet to improve customer conversion

  • Secure seasonal deals and promotions

  • Continuously promote and develop hotel partners’ high engagement with Revato by providing outstanding market insights (partner reports, competitive data and key performance drivers), revenue management tools (promotions, packages and fenced deals) and marketing and merchandising opportunities, self-service tools (Revato extranet)

Responsibilities - KAYAK 50%:

  • Research, negotiate, and win new business for the strategic partnership team.

  • Self manage your own pipeline of new business partnerships, reporting regularly to the Regional lead and wider internal teams.

  • Research and present tailored proposals for a variety of key markets and travel sectors utilizing KAYAK affiliate solutions

  • Analysis and monitoring of partner performance and proactive investigation to address changes or issues.

  • Become proficient in KAYAK systems and tools to support the wider Strategic Partnerships Team

Please apply if:

  • Three years of meaningful sales experience. Travel industry experience is a plus.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and investigate issues and identify opportunities.

  • A proactive personality that fits with the KAYAK culture.

  • Ability to manage projects of varying size and scope simultaneously, while prioritizing appropriately.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation experience.

  • Fluent in English written and spoken. Second European Language a plus.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Google suite is a benefit.

  • Ability to effectively liaise with internal technical teams and comfort interacting with senior members of the KAYAK team across globally located offices.

  • Good sense of humor and loves working in a partly unstructured, fast-paced environment.

  • BA/BS degree.

  • Travel requirement – 10-20%.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $96,000 - $135,000.

In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
