We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced sales leader as Director, Ad Sales EMEA to helm our European sales team. Your role is simple: to motivate, drive and lead the team to deliver against our ambitious advertising sales targets.

In this role, you will:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of ad sellers located in UK, France, Spain and Switzerland, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy setting quarterly targets, forecasting, and tracking key performance indicators.

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs as well as ensuring all ROI targets are exceeded.

  • Revenue growth: Aggressively seek to deliver incremental revenue from existing partners as well as pursuing new business opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and cross-selling.

  • Work alongside our Ad Product and Engineering teams to Develop new and creative ad solutions, as well as process and systems improvements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Campaign Management, Operations, Business strategy, Global sales leads and the wider commercial org.

  • Keep a close eye on the competitive landscape and industry trends.

Please apply if:

  • 10+ years in media sales, including at least 7 years’ experience of managing a Sales team

  • A deep network of client and agency contacts

  • An exceptional understanding of the online media landscape

  • Strong prospecting and excellent closing ability

  • First class presenting ability to tell a story and exert influence both internally and externally

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a high attention to detail

  • Travel experience and a second European language a plus
