The Data Platform Team is the backbone of KAVAK's data-driven decision-making process. As a central unit with company-wide impact, we:

About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineer on the Data Platform Team, you'll play a crucial role in KAVAK's mission to revolutionize the global automotive market through data-driven innovation.

What will you do?

• Design and implement scalable, global data infrastructure supporting our multinational operations
• Develop and optimize ETL processes for large-volume, multi-source data handling
• Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data solutions
• Implement advanced analytics and machine learning algorithms to derive insights from our global dataset
• Ensure data consistency and quality across our worldwide operations
• Develop and maintain our global data warehouse and data lake architectures
• Create comprehensive documentation for our global data systems
• Mentor other engineers and champion best practices across our international teams

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of data engineering experience, preferably in a global or multi-market context
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python and SQL
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline construction for large-scale systems
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with data technologies (e.g., Spark, DBT, Airflow)
• Proficiency with both relational and non-relational databases
• Knowledge of data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt solutions to different market needs
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a diverse, multicultural environment
• Fluency in Spanish; English or other languages are a plus
