Your Mission:

You will lead a team that will define Kavak GCC purchase and sale price strategies, optimising opportunities conversion and ensuring inventory turnover and unit margin according to the business plan. You will also build pricing models to support growth strategic plans.

What will you do?

• Lead a 3+ member team in charge of determining stock sales pricing strategy based on market variables
• Evaluate competitive position in order to maximize conversion and profitability per unit
• Monitor in real time the financial performance and expected sales results of the active stock
• Identify needs and purchase opportunities according to the current market and stock
• Define requirements for price prediction models, elasticity and data sources
• Work together with the product team in the development of internal tools and products for the client related to pricing strategies

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in pricing, strategy, finance, consulting or similar (with minimum 2 years purely focused on Pricing Strategy)
• 2+ experience in a people managerial role
• Experience in retail and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCGs) or in a fast growing retail startup
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to manage complex models across diverse databases and variables
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with multiple teams and leadership. Stakeholder management experience
• Strong ability to recruit diverse, dynamic talent, with experience developing and coaching teams
• Proficient in English
