Role and Responsibilities

  • Sell Jasper navigation services as if a loved one needed them
  • Represent the Jasper team and brand with the highest degree of professionalism, always
  • Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to support the mission, vision, and goals of the company
  • Partner closely with commercial leaders from Memorial Sloan Kettering to accelerate sales of the ‘MSK Direct’ product; target large employers seeking to offer best-in-class cancer navigation services to their employees, including MSK’s exclusive Expert Medical Opinion (EMO) capability and more.
  • Collaborate with Jasper leadership across all functions to optimize and customize the offering to match the unique needs of each employer customer; partner with product, clinical, marketing and customer success teams to set the foundation for long-lasting, sustainable partnerships that are based on strong employee enrollment, engagement, and retention.
  • Develop market and category awareness among potential buyers by clearly articulating the gaps in cancer care today, and the total value of cancer navigation services to individuals and their employers; tailor your messaging to fit the needs of different customer stakeholders - financial, operational, strategic, emotional, etc.
  • Lead high-impact customer discovery calls, presentations, product demonstrations, and deal negotiations with executive employer benefits leaders and health plan decision-makers
  • Build champions and influencers within large accounts to accelerate the deal making process
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans; align daily activity to broader objectives
  • Build a large sales pipeline and overcome complex obstacles to attain quarterly and annual sales quota
  • Leverage lead-generation and CRM platforms to manage customer communication and engagement, pipeline development, forecasting and reporting
  • Assume accountability and responsibility for your personal career growth and development
  • Have fun and contribute to the future success of the sales organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Be a team player, always; demonstrate high ethical standards and show respect for others
  • Apply exceptional needs-based selling skills in-person and virtually, across the entire sales cycle, and at all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding interpersonal, teamwork, organizational, follow-up and workload planning skills
  • Thrive in a matrixed organization; leverage internal resources and teams including marketing, product, clinical, and customer success to accelerate the sales process
  • Demonstrate a professionally aggressive business demeanor that reflects the urgency and timing of revenue to the business as well as shareholder value
  • Work effectively in an environment with competing priorities, multiple projects and virtual teams
  • Work remotely, and travel up to 40% for prospective customer meetings and conferences as needed
  • 8+ years of sales and/or partnership experience within Health Plans and Employer Groups with a proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
