Overview

FoodStorm, part of Instacart, powers prepared-foods operations for major retailers. As a Senior Product Manager, reporting to the General Manager of FoodStorm, you will own a critical product domain within FoodStorm’s Order Management Platform, driving product strategy and execution that enables retailers to scale their operations - in store and online. Your work will directly influence how enterprise partners manage orders, production, fulfillment, and integrations and how customers experience the grocery store of the future.

You will join a small, high‑impact R&D team operating like a scale‑up and collaborate with a much larger Product team as part of a publicly listed Silicon Valley tech company. This role requires strong product leadership, sharp commercial thinking, clear communication, and the ability to partner closely with Engineering, Design, DS, Professional Services, and other Instacart Product teams to deliver measurable customer and business impact.

Combining the culture of a scale-up with the benefits and influence of a Silicon Valley tech giant, FoodStorm provides a unique opportunity to join our small, growing R&D team based in Australia, while collaborating with a large, highly proficient team around the world. The role offers full-time remote work within Australia or access to our Melbourne office, competitive salary, and additional employee benefits.

About the Job

  • Translate customer needs and business objectives into clear product strategy, well-defined roadmaps, and focused execution plans grounded in data and measurable impact.
  • Work extensively with our retail partners to scope and test features, observe user behaviors, and iterate quickly; support pilots and launches as needed to drive strong adoption and value realization.
  • Lead the entire product lifecycle, from deep user and retailer discovery to final delivery. Use qualitative and quantitative research, retailer feedback, and industry best practices to identify new opportunities.
