Overview

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who will own the execution for Caper Cart launches and expansions. This person will collaborate closely with the Ops, Product and Customer Success Manager teams to ensure Caper Carts are successful in market post launch.

As a member of the Caper marketing team, you’ll be responsible for developing in store campaign plans that drive customer retention and loyalty. This role will report to the Director, Marketing.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Instacart with one of its most cutting edge products. This person will manage all existing retailer marketing relationships and assist with new launches.

About the Job

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to plan and execute launch and growth marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with ops manager and customer success manager to ensure campaign readiness across all relevant product touchpoints.
  • Work with external vendors and operations teams to manage in-store marketing materials logistics and delivery to ensure smooth execution.
  • Refine expansion playbooks and collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution, suggest improvements and refinements when needed.
  • Partner with the data science, customer success and product team to develop a measurement framework to assess the effectiveness of our campaign strategy
  • Work with internal marketing team and external partner to ensure all tactics are correct - messaging, size, asset type, co branding, etc.
  • Gather data, formulate insights, and articulate strategic opportunities that will impact the business and drive omnichannel growth
  • Ideate and identify the unexpected applications of brand that touch consumers and culture – partnerships, collaborations, brand activations
  • Champion and wield brand thinking across campaigns, concepts, and the organization; ensure everything we do is true to our brand and represents the best interests of the communities we serve
  • Consistently assess competitive strategies and uncover white space opportunities.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 4+ years of experience with in-store/retailer marketing
  • Organized work flow and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience executing marketing campaigns in store
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact at senior levels of the organization
  • Strong project management skills – ensure project milestones are met according to commitments; ability to manage and prioritize a wide variety of project types that vary in scope and scale and excel in a lean work environment
  • Demonstrable understanding of the various functional aspects of a marketing organization, plus paid media landscapes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with fast paced, retailer environments.
  • Record of leveraging consumer insights and experience to develop campaigns; experience using data and metrics to back up assertions of business value
  • Familiar with grocery or retail industry.
  • Photoshop skills preferred
  • Nimble, resourceful, and detail-oriented; thrives in both independent and collaborative work environments
