We are looking for a Legal operations specialist to join our Legal Operations Department team!

Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Plan legal spending, implement and monitor e-Billing for legal services, track and forecast expenses, analyze legal budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, while ensuring effective financial management.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate better rates, handle contract management, and onboard new vendors.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in operational processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance.
  • Legal Technology Management: Manage and implement legal technology solutions to streamline operations, such as contract management systems, e-billing platforms, document automation tools, etc.
  • Data Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze data, generate insights, and provide comprehensive reports for decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Manage Daily Operational Tasks: This includes maintaining knowledge bases, up-to-date information, and announcements, etc for Legal Team.

Qualifications

Hard Skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Legal or Finance.
  • Experience in a legal operations role or a similar operational capacity. A fundamental understanding of legal operations principles and processes.
  • Knowledge in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience with legal technology software and tools, such as contract management software (Ironclad or other), e-billing platforms, document automation tools, legal data analytics tools such as Tableau.
  • Proficiency in Excel to manage and analyze legal data, create reports, and perform financial analysis. This includes using Excel for budgeting, data analysis, and creating spreadsheets to track legal expenditures.
  • Project management skills for handling projects and initiatives.
  • Other hard skills that are crucial for the position to effectively manage legal processes, support decision-making, optimize efficiency, and drive compliance within the company.

Soft Skills:

  • Attention to Detail: Having a keen eye for detail and maintaining accuracy in legal documentation and processes.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
