Lead

Tasks and duties are to:

rk Operations:

• Lead and manage the Network Operations Center (NOC) team, ensuring seamless network operations and efficient monitoring of our network infrastructure;
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to a team of network engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment;
• Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures for network operations, aligning them with industry best practices and regulatory requirements;
• Oversee the configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network infrastructure components, including whiteboxes, load balancers (such as HAProxy and Nginx), and interconnects;
• Stay updated on the latest networking technologies, trends, and advancements, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within our network architecture.

Security Operations:

• Lead and manage the security operations team, responsible for security hardening, incident response, and vulnerability management;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and operations, to embed security measures throughout the software development lifecycle and maintain a strong DevSecOps culture;
• Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures for security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management;
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing to proactively identify and address security risks;
• Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices, and ensure the implementation of robust security controls and measures;
• Provide guidance and support to the organization in adhering to secure coding practices and security-related policies.

Management and Leadership:

• Effectively manage and balance the priorities and resources between the network and security operations teams, ensuring smooth coordination and alignment;
• Foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous learning among team members;
• Develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and service delivery;
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting on network and security operations, including performance metrics, incident response, and vulnerability management;
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to both network and security operations.
