We are looking for an Accountant to support accounting and tax operations in Kazakhstan, ensure accurate financial records, and contribute to the improvement and automation of accounting processes. You will be responsible for revenue-related accounting activities, reconciliations, compliance, and maintaining accurate records across multiple accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record revenue-related transactions in accounting systems.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain primary accounting documentation, including acts of services rendered (AVR), e-invoices (ESF), and consignment notes (SNT).
  • Reconcile balances and settlements with customers and monitor accounts receivable and payable.
  • Ensure the completeness and proper maintenance of signed accounting documentation.
  • Participate in audits and communicate with regulatory authorities when required.
  • Perform reconciliations between different accounting and financial systems.
  • Support accounting process automation initiatives, including preparing business requirements and coordinating with consultants and developers.
  • Monitor accounting records in NetSuite and tax accounting in 1C.
  • Process tax payments related to self-employed contractors and support compliance with local tax requirements.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of Kazakhstan accounting and tax legislation.
  • Experience working with 1C Accounting; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Experience handling large volumes of financial data and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, learn new information quickly, and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, responsibility, and teamwork skills.
