Join us as a SMM Specialist to drive engaging storytelling and impactful campaigns across our key social platforms. In this role, you will oversee content production, influencer collaborations, and campaign execution, while managing student contributors and ensuring consistent brand messaging. Using analytics and performance data, you’ll continuously refine content approaches to strengthen brand visibility and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Content and strategy:
  • Development and implementation of content strategies for Instagram, Telegram, TikTok, YouTube.
  • Maintaining a content plan and editorial calendar.
  • Adapting complex academic information into understandable and engaging content.
  • Ensuring compliance with tone of voice and brand guides.
SMM and operational work:
  • Creating, planning, and publishing content.
  • Managing announcements, campaigns, and events (including pre-launch activities).
  • Launching UGC campaigns and working with information guides.
  • Creating basic visuals (Figma/Canva).
Production:
  • Video production coordination (outsourcing)
  • Preparation of briefings and scripts (together with a copywriter)
  • Quality control and approval of materials
  • Maintaining a media bank
PR and partnerships:
  • Working with influencers and collaborations.
  • Interaction with the PR team (including InDrive).
  • Quality control of external content.
Working with students:
  • Coordination of student contributors
  • Setting goals and content quality control
Analytics:
  • Content Effectiveness Analysis.
  • Working with Looker Studio / embedded Analytics.
  • Data-driven strategy optimization.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Higher education (marketing, communications, journalism, digital or related fields).
  • 2-4 years of experience in SMM / content marketing / digital.
  • Excellent understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, YouTube.
  • Content planning and editorial calendar management skills.
  • Basic Design skills (Figma or Canva).
  • Experience in video production coordination.
  • Analytical skills (Looker Studio, GA or similar).
  • Copywriting in Russian and English.
  • Understanding Funnels, UGC, and Infowires​​​​​​.
That would be a plus:
  • Experience in education / EdTech
  • Knowledge of the Kazakh language
