We are looking for a Legal Counsel to support our LATAM operations in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. This is a role at the intersection of law, business, and product, where you’ll be expected to go beyond pure legal analysis and help the business move forward in a compliant and practical way.
You will be working across multiple jurisdictions, close to business, marketing, GR, and product teams, helping navigate regulatory challenges while enabling growth. It’s a role for someone hands-on, who is comfortable managing several projects at the same time, and who understands that legal is not just about identifying risks, but about finding workable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for up to 5 countries in the LATAM region;
- Serve as a front-line counsel, identifying and resolving issues impacting local business operations;
- Support business, marketing, GR, finance, corporate, and other teams with day-to-day local legal advice.
- Monitor and draft analysis of upcoming regulations and to play an analytical role that can impact public policy development by supporting the team in the department of government relations,;
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects with other departments to provide comprehensive advice and create solutions;
- Support contract drafting, review, and negotiations with different counterparties.
- Handle user claims and administrative procedures (e.g., SERNAC).
- Ensure compliance with regulations applicable to operations of the Company in applicable countries, and develop effective measures for compliance;
- Drafting policies and guidelines;
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience in ride-hailing, mobility, delivery, marketplaces, or tech-driven companies.;
- 5+ years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years of law firm experience;
- Bachelor’s degree in law, additional education would be a plus;
- English language proficiency at C1/C2 level + local language (IELTS academic 6,5-9);
- Strong experience in civil law, media/marketing/advertising regulation, consumer protection regulation, pre-litigation: claims resolution, commercial law/contracts. As an additional plus will be experience in data protection, intellectual property, fintech;
- Experience in contracts (drafting, review, negotiation).
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
