Responsibilities

  • Lead Country Growth: Drive the sustainable growth of the ride-hailing business in your market through targeted strategies and operational initiatives.
  • Market Research & Expansion: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new city opportunities, determine required investments, and assess feasibility for market entry.
  • Launch New Cities: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for launching new cities, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant rollouts.
  • Monitor Performance: Track and analyze key business metrics, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities to enhance overall performance.
  • Pricing & Marketplace Balance: Manage pricing strategies to ensure a competitive, healthy, and profitable marketplace.
  • Hypothesis Testing & Product Innovation: Generate, test, and validate business, marketing, and product hypotheses through MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) and data-driven experimentation.
  • Customer Development: Conduct on-the-ground research (CustDev) with passengers and drivers to gather actionable insights, improve product-market fit, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, driver acquisition, government relations, PR, market research, and data teams to successfully execute new business initiatives.
  • User Growth & Engagement: Design and lead initiatives to acquire new users, retain existing ones, and boost engagement within the ride-hailing ecosystem.
  • Strategic Contribution: Support regional strategic planning, competitor analysis, and market research for the Intercity vertical across Spanish-speaking LATAM.
  • External Representation: Act as the primary point of contact and representative of the company in your country, building strong relationships with key partners, authorities, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development, strategy, or operations.
  • Experience in ride-hailing, B2B/B2C delivery, or e-commerce marketplaces, ideally in a data-heavy role (business, product, or operations analyst).
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to use data for decision-making and growth optimization.
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with dashboards and performance tracking.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel for business within and outside the country.
  • Languages: Fluent Spanish and English (C1 level) required.
