We are looking for an experienced and driven Group Manager to lead our matching analytics team of 5. In this role, you will shape our matching strategy by developing and refining models and algorithms that connect riders with drivers while optimizing market performance. You will guide a team of talented analysts, ensuring seamless data operations, actionable insights, and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Mentor and inspire analysts, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.
- Manage team workflows, prioritize projects, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Strategic Analytics & Insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs.
- Develop and implement key metrics, dashboards, and monitoring tools to drive decision-making.
Data Architecture & Engineering
- Partner with data engineering teams to align data architecture with business requirements.
- Oversee ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and availability.
Advanced-Data Analytics & Modeling
- Design, build, and refine dynamic matching models and real-time algorithms.
- Ensure scalable and adaptable dispatch systems aligned with business objectives.
- Work with engineering and product teams to integrate matching solutions into the platform.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Present insights to executive leadership with clear recommendations.
- Develop standardized reporting practices for consistent stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or Data Science (PhD is a plus).
- Experience: 5+ years in data analytics or data science, including 2–3 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in mathematics (statistics, optimization theory, auction mechanics), SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Redash). Familiarity with high-load services.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with strong business acumen.
- Mindset: Proactive, problem-solving attitude, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
