We are seeking an experienced Group Manager to lead our Incentives Analytics team of 4. In this role, you will shape our incentives strategy by developing models and algorithms that effectively motivate drivers and riders—ensuring a balanced and efficient marketplace. You will manage a talented team of analysts, drive actionable insights, and optimize our incentive systems.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Mentor and inspire analysts, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.
- Manage workflows, prioritize projects, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
Strategic Analytics & Insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs.
- Develop and implement key metrics, dashboards, and monitoring tools to support decision-making.
Data Architecture & Engineering
- Partner with data engineering teams to align architecture with business requirements.
- Oversee ETL processes to ensure accurate, high-quality data.
Advanced-Data Analytics & Modeling
- Design, build, and enhance incentive mechanics to motivate drivers and riders.
- Ensure systems are effective, adaptable to market changes, and aligned with business objectives.
- Work with engineering and product teams to seamlessly integrate incentive solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Develop standardized reporting practices for consistent stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field (PhD is a plus).
- Experience: 5+ years in data analytics or data science, including 2–3 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in mathematics (with emphasis on statistics, control and discrete optimization theory, and auction mechanics), SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Redash). Familiarity with high-load services.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with strong business acumen.
- Mindset: Proactive, problem-solving attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
