We are seeking a Product Design Player-Coach to join one of our key business areas, Delivery Hub. In this role, you will take on a leadership position in product design, driving the creative vision and ensuring excellence across our delivery verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an individual contributor (IC) to meet the design needs of one team within the Delivery Hub.
  • Ensure the quality of design outputs across the Delivery Hub Unit.
  • Develop a conceptual design vision for the unit (with support from the team).
  • Collect, prioritize, and plan tasks within the unit.
  • Conduct pre-brief design reviews (PBR), challenging tasks from managers to ensure clarity and completeness.
  • Maintain and manage the backlog of design debt across all designers in the unit.
  • Proactively propose and implement strategic design initiatives, both within your domain and for the department as a whole.
  • Lead and organize research efforts, not just for task-related work but also for exploratory initiatives to improve design quality.

Qualifications

  • You have solid experience designing mobile applications, ideally across both mobile and web platforms.
  • You’ve worked in large organizations, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across different roles and teams.
  • You bring proven design leadership experience and can share compelling examples of your impact.
  • You excel in visual design and know how to scale your expertise across your team.
  • You lead by example, taking on hands-on tasks while empowering your team.
  • You are a cross-functional communication hero, partnering effectively with product managers, engineers, and researchers.
