We are looking for an experienced and driven Analytics Manager Incentives to lead our incentives analytics team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our incentives strategy, responsible for developing and evolving models and algorithms that effectively motivate drivers and riders, ensuring a balanced and efficient marketplace. You will lead a team of talented researchers, ensuring seamless data operations and algorithms, advanced insights generation, and analytics that drive the performance of our incentives solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership and Management: Guide, mentor, and inspire a team of analysts, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and professional development
  • Plan and oversee the teams workflow, prioritizing projects and ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery of analytical solutions
  • Strategic Analytics and Insights: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical frameworks and strategic recommendations
  • Design and implement key metrics, dashboards, and performance monitoring tools that support decision-making for the Incentives team
  • Data Architecture and Engineering: Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data architecture aligns with business requirements
  • Supervise the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure accurate, high-quality data is available for analysis
  • Advanced Data Analytics and Modelling: Design, build, and improve incentive mechanics to effectively motivate drivers and riders, fostering engagement and marketplace balance
  • Ensure that incentive systems are effective, adaptable to changing market conditions, and aligned with overall business objectives
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement incentive solutions and seamlessly integrate them into our platform
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, business, and engineering teams to ensure analytics align with overall strategies
  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the Incentives team
  • Reporting and Communication: Present analytical findings to executive leadership, clearly articulating insights, implications, and recommended actions
  • Develop standardized reporting practices to provide consistent, accurate, and valuable information to stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Education: at least Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or Data Science, PhD in a relevant field is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage
  • Experience: at least 5 years of experience in data analytics or data science, with 2-3 years in a leadership role
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Math an emphasis on statistics, control and discrete optimization theory, and auction mechanics, SQL, Python, data visualization tools Tableau, Redash, and familiarity with high load services
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong business acumen
  • Mindset: Problem-solving attitude, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
