We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join inDrive.Money. This person will be responsible for managing accounting operations, cash flow processes, and financial reporting in Mexico, with a focus on lending activities. You will collaborate closely with the finance team in Cyprus and Mexico, ensuring compliance with local regulations and tax authorities. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting for lending companies, experience in financial institutions or fintechs, and expertise in revenue recognition and trust structures (fideicomisos).

Responsibilities

  • Own the financial processes and prepare month-end financial statements for management reporting purposes, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Control and reconcile payment provider, accounts payable, and receivable, supporting with invoicing and payment processing.

    • Coordinate and supervise accounting services providers, including:
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of bookkeeping and financial reporting.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements.
  • Coordinate, support, and manage budget preparation and financial forecasts.
  • Provide local financial, tax, accounting, and reporting expertise for decision-making in the Fintech area.
  • End-to-end coordination with the statutory auditor and resolve audit queries to ensure smooth closure of financial statements.
  • Coordinate and supervise all contracts from the tax and regulatory perspective, interacting with counterparties to receive necessary documents (signed contracts, invoices, etc.).
  • Provide assistance to the Finance and Legal departments with the collection and preparation of all necessary documents.
  • Recommend changes in policies or procedures to improve financial and tax performance, as well as the accuracy and timeliness of account preparation.
  • Revise and adjust loan tape management systems to achieve covenants with institutional funds.
  • Own the calculation and presentation of covenant-related information such as portfolio capacity, advance rate, interest calculations, payment waterfalls, Debt-to-Equity Ratio, and Collateral Reserve.
  • Monitor and report on loan portfolio-related results such as Runway, D/E Ratio, total origination, default, and recovery rates.
  • Participate in the calculation and approval of capital reception from funds.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably with technology, FinTech, loan companies, and/or listed/multinational companies.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Oracle/Netsuite.
  • Advanced English speaker (communication required on a daily basis).
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting required.
  • Deep understanding and strong technical skills in accounting and finance, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, cash flow, cost/benefit analysis, revenue management, operating budget, and reporting.
  • Expertise in GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment, navigate ambiguity, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and provide clarity and structure.
