The position of Business Development Specialist is open in the Business Development team, which is responsible for monitoring, analytics, and improving business growth metrics. The Business Development team works closely with adjacent functions such as product, marketing, legal, government relations, analysts, etc.
The main task of the Business Development Specialist is scaling the core business of inDrive (city taxis) together with the BDM from Developed Countries.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve business metrics by launching initiatives to acquire, activate, and engage new users.
- Drive product development by generating and testing product, marketing, and operations hypotheses with cross-functional teams.
- Own the product and manage its configuration.
- Contribute to strategy development through market research, competitor analysis, and shaping the vertical strategy.
- Analyze marketplace and product metrics to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.
- Conduct qualitative research via surveys, fieldwork, and interviews.
- Implement growth strategies based on data analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Legal, Marketing, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, Engineering, or Mathematics;
- 1+ years of experience in ride-hailing, B2B/B2C delivery, or e-commerce marketplaces in data-driven roles (business/product/ops analyst), preferably with B2C products;
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable with numbers and data-driven problem-solving;
- Experience in product experiments and result analysis;
- Proficient in building financial models and forecasts;
- Skilled in generating and testing hypotheses through MVP solutions;
- Willingness to travel for business;
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
