Responsibilities

  • Administer human resources policies and programs, balancing employee advocacy and business operating needs.
  • Promote equity, fair treatment, and positive employee relations and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.
  • Promote engagement within the macroregion (Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Panama, and new locations within the region);
  • Manage full employee life cycle including onboarding, orientation, compensation benefits, employee relations, off-boarding, and HR admin processes;
  • Support recruitment processes;
  • Be responsible for communication with a payroll outsourcing company
  • Migration process lead via vendor;
  • HR admin issues (setting up employee files, completing standard forms letters, and maintaining reports and records), maintain additional agreements, and keep personal folders in an accurate way;
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of one or more of the following disciplines: Benefits, Compensation, Compliance, EH&S, Leave, Internships, and Wellness.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations. Issue necessary agreements, policies, instructions
  • Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes;
  • C&B: support in implementing corporate compensation policy by providing consultations regarding specifics or local legislation. Review of common practices of compensation packages in different companies.

Qualifications

  • English speaker, advanced level as a must (communication on a daily basis);
  • 7+ years experience as an HR generalist;
  • Proven management experience and strong leadership skills;
  • Experience with HR matters and employment regulations in LatAm;
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in related field or equivalent experience;
  • Deep knowledge of Labor law;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information and data;
  • Strong organizational and filing skills;
  • Knowledge of current regulations, payroll statements, and social security payments;
  • An expert user of the internet with strong tech capabilities is essential;
  • Good communication and Influencing skills;
  • Ability to work independently.
