We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Econometrist to join our dynamic team. As an Econometrist, you will play a key role in analyzing economic data, developing econometric models, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Your expertise in statistical analysis, econometric modeling, and economic forecasting will be essential in understanding market trends, evaluating business performance, and optimizing our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support, develop and implement advanced econometric models for forecasting and performance evaluation.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and modeling of marketing mix to optimize marketing spend, improve ROI and build saturation curve.
  • Lead projects aimed at increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing investments.
  • Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business, marketing, finance, and data science teams to ensure models align with business objectives.
  • Present complex analytical findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Continuously enhance econometric methods and tools to improve accuracy and reliability.
  • Mentor and guide junior econometricians and analysts in best practices and advanced techniques.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Econometrics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in econometric modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis.
  • Proven track record of optimizing marketing investments and improving ROI through data-driven insights.
  • Deep understanding of marketing mix modeling (MMM) and its application in a business context.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, STATA) and programming languages (Python).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with large, complex datasets.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in mentoring and leading analytical teams.
  • Knowledge of advanced optimization techniques and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • This role is critical for driving data-informed decisions and ensuring that marketing efforts are both effective and efficient, directly contributing to the organization's growth and profitability.
