We are seeking a talented and strategic Communications Manager to join our team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance our brand reputation, engage stakeholders, and support business objectives. You will play a key role in shaping our external and internal communications efforts across various channels.


  • Develop overarching company storylines for media.
  • Have your finger on the pulse of the news and provide creative ideas to gain media coverage.
  • Strategically lead crisis communications efforts as needed.
  • Responsible for developing PR Communications activities, OKRs, and reporting on results.
  • Develop and execute a strategic communication plan to enhance the company's brand image and reputation.
  • Manage and maintain positive relationships with media contacts, influencers, and key stakeholders to secure media coverage and maximise brand exposure
  • Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
  • Coordinate public relations activities
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests
  • Create content for pitch notes, press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
  • Monitor media coverage and social media conversations to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and develop appropriate responses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide communication support for various initiatives, such as launches, corporate announcements, and crisis management.
  • Collaborate with brands for cross promotional opportunities


  • 3+ years experience in public relations and/or communications.
  • Experience of working with a tech/startup/ride hailing company
  • Experience with crisis communications
  • A natural storyteller with excellent writing skills.
  • Outstanding verbal communications skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to drive cross-functional deadlines consistently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines
  • Have good connection with national and regional media
