We are seeking a Senior Legal Manager to provide comprehensive legal support across up to six countries in the EMEA region. This role involves front-line counsel responsibilities, supporting new business launches, and ensuring compliance with various regulations. The ideal candidate will advise on diverse legal matters, draft policies, manage government authority requests, and oversee third-party vendors. This position reports directly to the MacroRegion Legal Counsel and collaborates on cross-functional projects with business and legal teams.


  • Provide legal support for up to 6 countries in the EMEA region
  • Serve as a front-line counsel, identifying and resolving issues impacting the dynamic business operations
  • Legal support for launches in new countries as well as new businesses
  • Provide legal advice on different matters such as Civil law, Media/Marketing/Advertising regulation, Consumer regulation, Digital law, Contracts/Commercial law, Fintech, Digital employment/Labor regulation, Digital platforms regulation, Antitrust law, Dispute resolution/Claims
  • Monitor and analyze upcoming regulations, prepare action plans for implementation in the company's operational structure
  • Analyze and manage claims/cases to effectively participate in the decision-making process according to the legal strategy of the company
  • Work across business and legal teams and collaborate on cross-functional projects to provide comprehensive advice and create solutions
  • Provide legal review and support for all marketing/media/advertising campaigns launched in the countries of operation
  • Ensure compliance with regulations applicable to the company's operations across multiple countries and regulatory schemes, and craft effective measures for internal and external compliance
  • Draft policies and applicable guidelines for users and internal use
  • Manage different types of government authority requests
  • Manage external vendors; oversee all aspects of third-party vendor management, including execution and implementation of outside counsel guidelines, performance, and timely collection and processing of accruals and invoices
  • Sole role (no direct reports)
  • Direct reporting to the MacroRegion Legal Counsel


  • Experience working as in-house legal counsel for IT companies or law firms providing support for IT companies is highly preferred. Experience working at an international company is an additional plus
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, additional education is a plus
  • English language proficiency at C1/C2 level + local language (IELTS academic 6.5-9)
  • Strong experience in Civil law, Media/Marketing/Advertising regulation, Consumer protection regulation, Pre-litigation: claims resolution, Commercial law/Contracts. Experience in Data protection, Intellectual property, Fintech, and Antitrust is an additional plus
  • Solid case evaluation abilities, critical thinking skills, and the capacity to oversee a large portfolio of high-severity matters
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in an exciting, fast-paced environment, both collaborating as a team and working independently to get the job done
  • Strong interpersonal skills and highly collaborative with both business leaders and cross-functional partners, with a strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with others
  • Self-motivation with a strong affinity for vision setting, strategic problem solving, and driving action; a go-getter mentality
  • Great communication skills
  • Understanding of key business metrics
