Head of Driver Operations in Developed Countries

The Breakthrough Growth Team driving the rapid growth of our main business (city rides) is looking for a Head of Driver Operations. This person will be responsible for attracting, activating, and retaining drivers (end-to-end driver communication). This is a managerial role with 3-10 team members. The region includes the USA and other developed countries.

This job is ideal for someone with experience managing sales channels in large international companies, who is ready to work quickly in a startup environment and interact directly with drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee strategic, operational, and budget planning for the department.
  • Provide effective leadership and guidance to ensure team success and achievement of regional goals, targets, and KPIs, including launching new cities and growing existing ones.
  • Make data-driven decisions within areas of responsibility.
  • Lead cross-functional projects.
  • Manage end-to-end driver acquisition, activation, and retention campaigns, including internal and external communication channels and incentive programs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and refine processes.
  • Maintain strong connections with drivers and conduct extensive field research, including cold calls.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple acquisition or sales channels (e.g., performance marketing, lead generation, call centers, direct sales).
  • Proven experience in managing complex cross-functional projects.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset, always seeking growth, innovation, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Open-minded and creative in achieving goals.
  • Strong data analytics skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English (C1 level or higher).
  • Exceptional people management skills to lead, motivate, and inspire individuals and teams effectively.
  • High degree of autonomy, self-motivation, and initiative to drive projects forward.
