We are expanding our Driver Acquisition Department and right now we’re looking for a Country lead to join our team in Brazil! This professional will be responsible for the performance of drivers acquisition team, in order to expand the user base of the main business vertical of inDrive in one of the crucial regions of our presence - Brazil. We're looking for a strong professional with experience team management in business operations/expansion/launching new businesses.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning:
Develop Acquisition Strategies: Formulate and implement comprehensive driver acquisition strategies to drive app downloads, user sign-ups, and active users. - Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for growth, including exploring new geographic markets and user segments.
- Campaign Management:
Campaign Planning and Execution: Design, launch, and optimize multi-channel driver acquisition campaigns across digital platforms and offline activities. - A/B Testing: Implement A/B testing for creative, targeting, and other campaign variables to continually improve performance and user engagement.
- Budget Management:
Budget Allocation: Manage and allocate the driver acquisition budget effectively to maximize ROI, ensuring cost-efficient growth. - Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze performance of campaigns and the team , making adjustments as necessary to stay within budget and meet KPIs.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
Performance Analysis: Use analytics tools to track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of driver acquisition campaigns, identifying key metrics and trends. - Reporting: Provide regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Team Leadership:
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the driver acquisition team, setting clear goals and expectations, providing regular feedback, and fostering a collaborative work environment.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as product, engineering, operations, and customer support to ensure alignment and support for driver acquisition initiatives.
- Drivers Operations Experience:
Driver Journey Optimization: Collaborate with product and UX teams to ensure a seamless and engaging driver journey from acquisition to retention. - Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the driver acquisition function.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
Compliance: Ensure that all driver acquisition activities comply with relevant regulations, data privacy laws, and industry best practices.
Best Practices: Establish and maintain best practices for driver acquisition, sharing insights and lessons learned with the broader team and organization. - Vendor and Partner Management:
Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners involved in driver acquisition activities, ensuring they meet performance expectations and deliver value.
Strategic Partnerships:
Partnership Development: Identify and develop strategic partnerships that can enhance driver acquisition efforts, such as collaborations with other apps, influencers, or marketing platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, Master’s in Marketing) can be an advantage.
- Fluent English and Portuguese;
- Relevant Experience: 3-5 years of experience in user acquisition, digital marketing, or growth marketing roles. Experience specifically in the tech or ride-hailing industry is highly desirable.
- Leadership Experience: proven track record of leading and managing a team, preferably in a high-growth environment.
- Campaign Management: Hands-on experience in planning, executing, and optimizing user acquisition campaigns across various digital channels (social media, search, display, mobile networks).
- Technical Skills:
Analytics Tools: Proficiency in using analytics and data visualization tools like Tableau, Datastudio, Grafana, or similar platforms.
Digital Marketing Tools: Experience with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, programmatic advertising, and mobile ad networks.
CRM and Marketing Automation: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Robocalls, WhatsApp business, AI chat bots). - Strategic and Analytical Skills:
Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies. - Budget Management: Experience in managing large advertising budgets efficiently to maximize ROI.
- A/B Testing: Expertise in running A/B tests and other experimentation techniques to optimize campaigns.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey strategies and results to stakeholders.
- Creative problem-solving skills to navigate the challenges of user acquisition and retention.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and conditions.
- Market Trends: Deep understanding of the ride-hailing industry, including current trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory environment.
User Behavior: Insights into the behavior and preferences of users in the ride-hailing space to tailor acquisition strategies effectively. - Additional Attributes:
Innovative Mindset: A knack for innovation and staying ahead of the curve with the latest user acquisition techniques and technologies. - Customer-Centric Approach: Focus on enhancing the user experience and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective acquisition strategies.
- Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, and other teams to align user acquisition efforts with overall business objectives.
