We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Driver Acquisition Team Leader to join our team in Africa who will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training, and management of driver partners across multiple regions within Africa. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the local market dynamics, and a passion for driving growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for driver acquisition and activation, including selecting channels, optimizing tools, and coordinating team
- Lead and manage a team of supervisors and specialists focused on driver acquisition and activation
- Conduct surveys to identify user pain points at regional, country, and city levels
- Research competitors within the region, country, and city
- Create and oversee projects based on research findings in collaboration with other departments, setting and achieving specific goals
- Budget and manage projects to align with and achieve strategic objectives
- Conduct customer development (CustDev) through field research with drivers and passengers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and teams to enhance existing processes and develop new ones
Qualifications
- Over 3 years of team management experience with proven strong leadership skills
- Demonstrated expertise in sales and user acquisition
- Proficient in English (upper-intermediate level)
- Willing and able to travel as needed
- Comprehensive experience in full-cycle project management
- Proficient in utilizing various marketing tools
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
