Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Manager who will be responsible for the people, process and tech management in a product team of 7-8 engineers

Responsibilities

  • Organize effective team development, participate in the hiring and adaptation of new developers.
  • Develop processes, technologies and tools for development together with the team.
  • Create a community of developers within the company, and participate in external conferences.
  • Share knowledge with developers at internal and external meetups.
  • We are using Golang (as our main language), some teams are using Python, Node.JS as well.
  • Main DB is MySQL, in addition we are using Redis.
  • Rarely for some tasks we are using Elasticsearch and ClickHouse.
  • Synchronous REST API and Swagger in our app, GraphQL for admin panels and gRPC for service interaction, Kafka or NATS for asynchronous interaction.
  • We are using our own PasS solution whitch is using Kubernetes.

Qualifications

  • Have experience of development in high-volume projects, understand the architecture and limitations of server and client development.
  • Are a good technical leader and mentor, and know how to deal with and explain difficult technical concepts to Products and technicians.
  • Take an interest in new technologies, and like working in a team and developing your skills further (we will make sure that you undergo regular training).
