We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Event Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing promotional and social events. Event Specialist is responsible for running a range of events, ensuring the target audience is engaged and the message of the event is marketed properly. As an Event Specialist, you'll organize conferences, award ceremonies, bootcamps, sport events, as well as summits and workshops.

You'll manage the whole process from the planning stage, concept and content development right through to running the event and carrying out the post-event evaluation. Reporting directly to Sustainability PR communication manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing events to drive growth through our non-commercial projects across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
  • Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (for example, venue, catering, travel)
  • Manage all pre-event planning, organizing guest speakers and delegate packs
  • Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget
  • Develop innovative event concepts and programs that align with the project's goals and resonate with the target audience.
  • Deep understanding of non-commercial streams of the company like cinema, sport, education and IT
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to incorporate creative elements into event designs, such as themes, decor, and interactive experiences.
  • Utilize a creative approach to problem-solving and adapt event strategies to meet evolving project objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive event reports highlighting key metrics, successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including PR, marketing and project management, to ensure alignment of event strategies with broader project initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in event management or project management, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Experience working for multinational companies on CSR or PR agencies.
  • Fluent business English.
  • Demonstrated creative abilities with a track record of developing engaging event concepts
  • Knowledge of issues related to cinema, education, IT, gender equality, and children's sports preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
