Our Team's Vision:

The People Operations team delivers a world‑class employee experience through trusted data, scalable systems, and operational excellence. As we continue to scale globally, our ability to make fast, confident, and compliant people decisions depends on a modern, well‑governed People data platform.

The People Data Analyst is an individual contributor responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving the People data ecosystem in Microsoft Fabric. This role owns the technical backbone of People Analytics, ensuring data from Workday and connected systems is reliable, well‑modeled, secure, and analytics‑ready for leaders across the company.

You will partner closely with People Operations, HRIS, Finance, IT, and Security to establish a durable People data foundation that supports self‑service analytics, executive reporting, and advanced workforce insights.

Your Impact:

  • Architect, build, and maintain the end‑to‑end People data platform in Microsoft Fabric, including data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and semantic layers

  • Design scalable data pipelines that integrate Workday and connected People tools (e.g., ATS, performance, engagement, learning, case management)

  • Own ongoing platform reliability, performance optimization, and cost‑efficient data operations

  • Develop and maintain canonical People data models (employee lifecycle, headcount, attrition, mobility, compensation, DEI, compliance)

  • Establish data quality checks, monitoring, and issue‑resolution processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency

  • Partner with HRIS, Legal, Security, and IT to uphold data governance, access controls, and privacy requirements (GDPR, CCPA, SOC2)

  • Enable self‑service analytics through curated datasets and Power BI semantic models built on Fabric

  • Partner with People team to translate business questions into trusted datasets and scalable metrics

  • Support executive‑level reporting and recurring operating metrics (headcount, hiring, attrition, org health, workforce planning)

  • Act as the People data technical expert for People Operations, HRBPs, Total Rewards, and Talent teams

  • Collaborate with Finance Analytics and Enterprise Data teams to align People data with company‑wide metrics and standards

  • Influence roadmap decisions for People Analytics by anticipating future needs and platform evolution

Your Toolkit:

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or People Analytics, with ownership of production data models and pipelines

  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse/Warehouse, semantic models) and Power BI

  • Strong SQL and data transformation experience; familiarity with modern data modeling practices (star schema, dimensional modeling)

  • Experience working with Workday data in an analytics context

  • Proven ability to translate ambiguous People questions into clear, scalable data solutions

  • Strong understanding of workforce metrics and employee lifecycle data in a high‑growth SaaS environment

  • Comfort partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions through data

  • Operates independently with end‑to‑end ownership of a critical People data platform

  • Anticipates scale, risk, and future requirements rather than reacting to requests

  • Balances speed with rigor, documentation, and long‑term maintainability

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required

  • Experience in SaaS or global, multi‑country environments strongly preferred
