By joining our agile Sales team, you will collaborate with industry-leading professionals who are passionate about pioneering Zero Trust Segmentation.

As the Director of Sales, you will lead a regional team responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strong customer relationships. You will set the vision for your territory, execute strategic plans, and empower your team to exceed targets while delivering exceptional value to customers.

This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, and partner cross-functionally to accelerate Illumio’s growth.

Your Impact:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed revenue goals. Define and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with Illumio’s GTM objectives.

  • Team Development: Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent. Foster a high-performance culture built on trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Customer Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, ensuring Illumio solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure seamless execution of the customer journey.

  • Operational Excellence: Drive forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and disciplined sales processes using Salesforce and other tools.

  • Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic account plans, and represent Illumio at industry events and conferences.

Your Toolkit:

  • Experience: 10+ years in enterprise software or cybersecurity sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams in high-growth environments.

  • Track Record: Proven success in exceeding revenue targets and scaling regional sales teams.

  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to set vision, execute plans, and adapt to evolving market dynamics.

  • Executive Presence: Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging C-suite stakeholders.

  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and SaaS business models.

  • Tools: Proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach, and other modern sales technologies.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed (~30–40%).
