This role requires you to be in the Illumio HQ 3x a week. This is a 12-week summer internship that will take place during the summer of 2024.

As a People Operations Intern, you will work closely with the People team to support employee lifecycle, benefits, compliance function initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience in recruitment, employee onboarding, HR data management, and other projects as assigned. This internship is an excellent opportunity to learn about the vital role HR plays in a dynamic organization and to develop skills that will be valuable in your future career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment Support:

• • Support the job description project.

  • Support the requisition process: open new position and update existing.

• Onboarding:

  • Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork and assisting with orientation sessions.

  • Support the onboarding process by initiating onboarding in Greenhouse and Workday systems.

  • Create New Hire Announcements.

  • Assistance with new hire swag.

• Benefits Support:

  • Organize a wellness activity for the summer.

  • Maintain the content on the benefits website. Support the team with answering basic benefits questions.

• HR Data Management:

  • Perform employee data audit to ensure all data is captured accurately in Workday.

  • Assist in generating HR reports and analytics as needed.

• Compliance:

  • Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

• Administrative Tasks:

  • Provide general administrative support to the People Operations team.

  • Help document and organize HR-related process documentation.

Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Eagerness to learn and a strong desire to pursue a career in Human Resources.

Pay Range:

$35 USD
