Location: Espoo, Finland
Department: Forward Deployed Engineering
Reports to: VP Forward Deployed Engineering
Employment type: Permanent
Workplace model: Hybrid (3 days / week in office)

Why this role matters:
As a Forward Deployed Operations Specialist, you will help drive execution across ICEYE's Intelligence Software Suite. You will play a central role in coordinating demos, training, pilots, exercises, customer-facing activities, and cross-functional workstreams that connect product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
This role directly helps the team execute at a higher tempo by reducing operational bottlenecks, improving coordination, and ensuring customer and internal priorities translate into well-run outcomes. It is designed for a high-agency junior professional with defence, intelligence, or national security experience who wants to grow into broader operational and strategic responsibilities over time.
It is also designed as an entry point into broader operational leadership. Over time, the scope can expand into strategic programs, business operations, product management, chief of staff-type responsibilities, or other cross-functional leadership roles as the team scales.

Support customer engagement preparation, internal readiness, and post-engagement follow-up.
Help structure and improve team operating rhythms so execution is reliable, fast, and scalable.
Assist with planning and coordination for mission-focused deployments and customer-facing activities.
Capture operational friction points and feedback from engagements, then help route them into the right product and engineering discussions.
Support additional special projects across the team as the Intelligence Software Suite grows.
