Why this role matters:

As a Strategic Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for selling ICEYE’s suite of Natural Catastrophe Solutions into European based insurance companies.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key enterprise customers, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor

  • Drive account growth by identifying new opportunities, upselling, and cross-selling solutions aligned with customer needs and long-term goals

  • Understand client business objectives and ensure alignment between expectations and deliverables to maximize satisfaction and retention

  • Coordinate internal resources to meet customer requirements and ensure successful delivery, acting as the voice of the customer within the organization

  • Create and execute strategic account plans, including forecasting, budgeting, and business reviews to track performance and drive growth

  • Analyze account performance using key metrics, providing regular insights and reports to internal stakeholders and client decision-makers

  • Resolve complex issues effectively, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty

What we’re looking for

Must-haves:

  • 3+ years of sales experience with re/insurers, with a strong desire to continue growing and readiness to take the next step in professional development

  • Passion for developing new markets, selling solutions, building relationships, and solving complex problems with clients and colleagues

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to audiences with limited knowledge of ICEYE solutions and capabilities

  • Fluent in English

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with globally distributed teams

  • Willingness to travel internationally to meet clients and attend industry events

Nice to have:

  • Fluency in French and/or Italian

  • Experience in geospatial data or related industries

  • Understanding of natural catastrophes
