Why this role matters:

As a Finance Business Partner, Solutions Line of Business, you’ll help evolve Solutions forecasting from data-informed reporting into a fully driver-based, decision-grade framework that provides clear and reliable visibility of revenue at the customer level.

You’ll translate underlying business drivers into forward-looking insight, reducing reliance on event-driven volatility and helping leadership plan with greater confidence despite uncertainty in demand. By turning commercial, operational, and customer signals into clear financial perspectives, you’ll support better and faster decision-making.

You’ll also act as a trusted challenger and thought partner to the General Manager and Solutions leadership team, using financial insight to shape decisions, not just explain outcomes. By surfacing risks early, clarifying trade-offs, and grounding actions in data, you’ll help balance growth ambitions with disciplined execution and controlled investment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Build and own a driver-based forecasting model at customer level, linking customer behaviour, pricing, and event activity into a clear and reliable revenue view

• Develop and maintain a structured 12-month forecast and 3-year outlook, with assumptions clearly defined, regularly challenged, and grounded in business drivers

• Build scenario-based planning approaches that reflect revenue uncertainty, model event-driven volatility explicitly, and support better planning and decision-making

• Improve leadership visibility into margin across customers, products, and offerings, identifying low-quality revenue and margin leakage early

• Partner with commercial and business leaders to influence pricing, customer decisions, and investment trade-offs through clear financial insight

• Support disciplined growth by linking headcount and sales expansion to validated demand and forward-looking revenue signals

• Automate and improve forecasting processes where possible, reducing manual effort and creating more scalable, consistent decision support

• Act as a trusted finance partner to the General Manager and Solutions leadership team, using data to challenge assumptions, surface

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

• Proven ability to build and own fully driver-based financial models from the ground up, linking customer behaviour, event dynamics, and commercial terms into a coherent and decision-grade forecasting framework

• Strong commercial insight, with the ability to understand how value is created across customers and offerings and use this to guide decisions through clear, data-backed recommendations

• Ability to develop a strong understanding of products and delivery models, translating operational drivers into financial impact and improving the quality of business partnering

• Strong forecasting and scenario modelling skills, with the ability to build robust frameworks, define assumptions clearly, and manage uncertainty through structured ranges

• Experience using tools and automation to build scalable and efficient forecasting processes, reducing manual work and enabling faster, more consistent insight generation

• Ability to challenge and support senior stakeholders with confidence and clarity, communicating complex financial concepts simply and driving alignment around data-led decisions

• Builder mindset, with the ability to create structure in ambiguous environments and establish frameworks, processes, and standards where none exist

• Strong structured thinking, with the ability to break down complex and uncertain problems into clear components, identify key value drivers, and translate ambiguity into actionable insight
