What you'll do

    • Build the foundation for Hypersonica’s Quality Organization and Process. Defining and developing standards and tools for implementation.
    • Develop and own the quality management system, enabling rapid iteration and progress while securing highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.
    • Own xFMEA processes in product design and industrialization and drive execution across all relevant engineering functions.
    • Own control plans and ensure practical integration with the manufacturing- and production engineering teams.
    • Define quality labs based on production requirements and lead quality operations.
    • Support product development taking a “Design for Quality” perspective, ensuring an embedded quality consideration from early phases.
    • Define traceability requirements throughout the supply- and production valuechain and work with internal and external stakeholders to implement traceability measures.
    • Contribute to buy-off and testing requirements for equipment during FAT / SAT from a quality perspective.
    • Ensure clear documentation, including document control, according to applicable standards and best practices from the industry.
    • Act as a technically credible problem‑solver in ambiguous environments, closing decisions and keeping programs moving at pace.

Who you are

    • A senior Quality Engineer / Manager with extensive firsthand expertise and experience in automated, complex manufacturing with highest quality standards
    • Experienced working on complex, integrated manufacturing systems. Ideally in aerospace, defence, or other high‑performance, cross functional environments under intense time pressure.
    • Able to work in green field, shaping policy and standards from ground off.
    • A strong leader, motivating team, creating a joint mission and understanding and creating commitment by demonstrating purpose.
    • Dealing well with ambiguity and uncertainty, willing to anticipate, test and reconsider if necessary.
    • Actively utilizing your strong Quality methodology and tool set; Quality industry expertise and understanding. Covering various levels of integration from a product development-, manufacturing and supply chain perspective.
    • Pragmatic and delivery‑focused, able to make sound engineering trade‑offs without over‑engineering
    • Comfortable collaborating across disciplines and acting as a technical integrator, not just a specialist.
    • Hands‑on by instinct, willing to support build, integration, and test when needed.
    • Calm and effective in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments where priorities evolve.
    • Motivated by building real, high‑consequence hardware where mechanical and system correctness truly matter.
