About the role

The Venue Manager has full ownership of a single Huuva Kitchen, is the leader of the Kitchen Crew, and is responsible for kitchen-level operational metrics like the use of ingredients, working hours and reviews. You work together with Huuva's Kitchen Operation Lead and other Venue Managers to delight the customers with every dish every day. Huuva operates two kitchens in Berlin and is preparing to launch a new one.

Here's what you'll be doing on a daily and weekly basis:

  • Leading and managing your Kitchen Crew
  • Planning and managing inventory, ordering, working schedules, and HACCP preventive measures
  • Organising, leading and participating in the daily cooking, opening, service and closing
  • Maintaining a clean, orderly, safe kitchen and working area.
  • Proactively finding and creating solutions to challenges before raising them in the chain of command.
  • Hiring and practical onboarding and training of new Kitchen Crew members
  • Managing the customer reviews and refunds on the sales channels

  • Driving the daily and weekly operations based on the numbers
  • Can-do problem-solving attitude
  • 3+ years of management experience in a hectic and demanding kitchen environment
  • Proficiency in English. German is considered a plus.
