About the role
As a Shift Manager at Huuva, you're the front person of Huuva Kitchen and have responsibility for your kitchen's daily performance, operations, and work culture. You are the Venue Manager's right hand and carry the team leadership during their absence. Huuva's Venue Managers and Kitchen Operations Lead are there to mentor and support you, ensuring you have the tools to succeed!

Here's what you'll be doing on daily basis:

• Run daily service as a team captain
• Lead from the front during rush service
• Plan and prepare daily Mise en place according to the recipes
• Cook food to order, finish, package, and dispatch orders
• Manage cleaning and dishwashing according to SOPs and HACCP policies
  
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment
• Ensure the venue and menu stay open and online with high quality
• Work with a sense of urgency

Together with Venue Manager, you'll be:

• Hiring, onboarding and training the kitchen crew
• Doing weekly roster planning according to the working hours budget
• Managing inventory, ordering and wastage
• Solving operational challenges and improving kitchen-specific processes
• Communicating and reporting to the Kitchen Operations Lead

Our expectations:

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• 2+ years of shift management experience
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle pressure and stressful situations
• Good communication skills in English, German is a plus
• Comfortable with a tech-oriented, fast-paced environment
