About the Role

We’re expanding our Usage Experience (Frontend) teams and hiring a Technical Lead to help shape this critical area. Usage-Based Billing is one of the most important initiatives HubSpot is undertaking in 2026. Our goal is to tie customer value directly to how we bill and to scale HubSpot alongside our customers’ success.

As we expand our credits-driven products across the company, you’ll help build the frontend experiences that give customers greater control, predictability, and visibility into their usage. This work sits directly on the path to revenue and plays a central role in how AI-powered products are monetised.

This is a hands-on Technical Lead role with meaningful ownership from day one. You’ll help define the frontend foundations of a growing team while building net-new customer-facing features on top of an existing product. Working closely with an established Product Manager and Designer, you’ll translate complex pricing and usage concepts into clear, intuitive user experiences.

The Team

This is a newly formed team which is expected to grow steadily, reaching around four engineers by the end of the year. From the start, the team works in close partnership with Product and Design and has high visibility across the business due to the direct impact its work has on monetisation and revenue.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Building new frontend features for usage-based billing and credit experiences
  • Translating complex pricing, usage, and monetisation concepts into clear, intuitive UI
  • Leading frontend technical decisions using React and TypeScript
  • Setting patterns and standards as the frontend function grows
  • Collaborating deeply with Product, Design, Pricing & Strategy, and Finance
  • Helping ramp up additional frontend engineers as the team scales

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience with React and TypeScript
  • Proven ability to lead a team of frontend software engineers
  • Experience building production-grade, customer-facing web applications
  • Comfort working in cross-functional, product-led teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience in fintech, billing, pricing, or monetisation domains
  • Exposure to AI-powered products or data-heavy user interfaces
  • Interest in how frontend engineering directly drives business outcomes

Growth & Impact

A year from now, you’ll be the frontend technical owner for usage-based selling experiences, leading larger initiatives across monetisation and credits. You’ll help shape how AI products are sold and scaled, while influencing frontend direction beyond your immediate team.

Why This Role

  • Usage-based billing is a top industry priority and core to AI monetisation
  • Your work sits directly on the customer purchase journey
  • High-impact product area with strong visibility across the business
  • Opportunity to shape a new team while building on an existing product foundation

This role can be office based (Dublin), hybrid or remote from anywhere within Ireland
