About the Role

We're looking for a Sales Events Program Manager to drive high-impact internal events for HubSpot’s Global Sales Team. This is a new role, designed to help us transform our approach to event execution and create remarkable experiences for our hybrid team to come together in person.

In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end management of major in-person sales events, reporting to the Sales Chief of Staff. You’ll be responsible for managing a budget and building scalable processes that maximize impact while driving efficiency.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a high-autonomy environment, excels at managing vendor partnerships, and can seamlessly navigate stakeholder relationships across all levels of the organization.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Owning the execution of major internal events in Sales - Leading the event strategy, project management, and on-site execution for large in-person events, including Sales Summit, President's Club, and global leadership summits
  • Partnering strategically with contracted event vendors for scaled execution, managing relationships, expectations, timelines, and ensuring consistency with our internal strategy
  • Collaborating closely with finance to plan and manage event budgets, optimizing for maximum impact and efficiency
  • Facilitating internal communications and employee experience for key events through strategic collaboration with internal business partners
  • Monitoring event outcomes and making data-driven recommendations to continuously improve impact and efficiency
  • Providing consultation and enablement to local teams hosting culture events in HubSpot offices or talent hubs
  • Supporting ad-hoc culture programming by offering final-mile support for major company initiatives and projects as required

What we're looking for:

  • Strategic Event Planning & Execution - Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale, global events with complex dependencies and diverse stakeholder groups
  • Project Management Skills - High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and experience managing timelines, resources, and risk mitigation with precision
  • Budget & Vendor Management Expertise - Strong track record managing large budgets ($5M+) and optimizing costs through effective vendor partnerships, balancing quality and efficiency
  • Stakeholder Management - Exceptional ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, across multiple geographies
  • Employee Experience Design - Creative mindset with the ability to design and execute memorable, high-impact content and experiences that foster connection and clarity
  • High Autonomy and Problem-Solving - Comfort navigating ambiguity, independently solving complex problems, and experimenting with new approaches to drive results

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Prior experience owning large-scale corporate events
  • Background working with global teams and managing events across regions – bonus if you have experience working directly with sales teams or other internal audiences
  • Experience working through vendors with limited in-house team support
  • History of building scalable event processes and templates for broader organizational use
  • Strong project management skills with experience using tools like Asana or similar platforms
