About HubSpot Product

The HubSpot Product team is passionate about building tools that help small and medium-sized businesses market, sell, serve their customers, and ultimately grow better. We build for more than 65,000 customers in over 100 countries around the world.

Our product leaders have a few things in common: they are strong visionaries with previous success in defining a strategic roadmap, delivering a business plan, and positioning a product in the market successfully. They are able to work autonomously, lead transparently, and they prioritize product and people over strict processes. If you’re an experienced product leader who has depth in building and leading teams, in addition to managing product and excelling at go-to-market initiatives, we want to talk to you.

About the Team

As the leader of the Growth Onboarding Group, you will define the future of product-led, AI-powered Onboarding for HubSpot. We believe the traditional services delivery model is being disrupted, and that in the age of AI every company should be able to get up and running and deploy software to their teams within days. This is an opportunity to drive meaningful impact with a scale-up stage initiative, helping us grow from “1 to N” with an AI-led, human assisted onboarding strategy.

By reimagining how AI can power personalized and automated onboarding at scale, building and optimizing best-in-class user activation experiences and flows, and leading a team of Growth Product Managers, you’ll help HubSpot increase activation and engagement, expand the market opportunity via self-serve capabilities, and deliver meaningful customer and business impact in one of the most important strategic investment areas for HubSpot.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and Go-to-Market teams to define the multi-year onboarding vision and strategy to disrupt the traditional services delivery model across downmarket and upmarket segments and our paid product tiers.
  • Drive the exploration, invention, research, and development of how buyers and users will onboard onto B2B software in the age of AI.
  • Work with groups and leaders across HubSpot to build and optimize easy, fast, and delightful activation and onboarding flows across all HubSpot products.
  • Lead a cross organizational team to execute and deliver a game changing product with impact well beyond the bounds of Growth
  • Help transform the Growth Onboarding Group from a traditional Growth organization to a platform group who can scale their impact across segments and teams.
  • Partner with engineering and design leads to build a healthy and high performing group culture.
  • Lead a team of talented Product Managers, helping them learn and grow within HubSpot, while continuing to add great new talent to the organization.

We are looking for people who have:

  • Experience. A proven track record of building and leading product teams, preferably in the AI, onboarding, or Growth space.
  • A Customer Mindset. You deeply obsess about customer needs, desires and motivations.
  • Excellent Product Taste. You love creating beautiful, delightful experiences for users. You are up to date on trends in the SaaS and AI industries, have deep intuition for user expectations and can intertwine product strategy with designing delightful experiences that help customers achieve their goals.
  • A Winning Mindset. You want to be the best at what you do, you are not afraid to make bold bets, and you don’t shy away from changing how the world works.
  • A Growth Mindset. You are curious, open-minded, willing to challenge assumptions, and believe that learning is better than being right.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can craft presentations and stories that provide a compelling vision and strategy for achieving our business and customer gaols, and sharing them with stakeholders to influence and align. You are not afraid to defend you ideas to key stakeholders.
  • Desire and demonstrated ability to set an ambitious north star and drive a team to achieve it in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • Proven leadership skills, and the ability to make decisions, test assumptions, and iterate - often without perfect information.
  • A leader who shares our HEART values
