HubSpot is looking for an Operations & Data Analyst who will work directly with global leaders across the business to deeply understand business performance and enable strategic decision making regarding pricing & packaging, go-to-market strategy, product strategy, and more. In this role, you’ll report directly to a Business Operations Manager, and will develop key reporting infrastructure to provide operational and analytical support. You will be responsible for regularly reporting on our Key Performance Indicators, assisting in cross-functional project management and execution, and identifying strategic opportunities to accelerate progress.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Own performance reporting packages that leadership relies on to understand and run the business; improve the underlying data model to be more scalable, informative, and generally useful
- Conduct quantitative analysis across a range of projects such as financial modeling to inform an upcoming pricing & packaging change, or in-depth analysis of a new product’s performance.
- Identify (and answer!) critical operational questions, providing thoughtful, detail-oriented recommendations to leadership.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across Product, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure data is accessible and metrics are well-defined, relevant, and actionable.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders and teams in Product, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure smooth operation of the business and consistent achievement of the operational growth goals, and help drive effective change.
- Package and present recommendations to executive stakeholders through a balance of quantitative analysis and qualitative outside-in perspectives.
We are looking for people with:
- 2-3 years of professional experience with a proven track record of delivering results; industry experience in technology/SaaS, Finance, or management consulting preferred
- Highly proficient in SQL, data visualization tools (we use Looker), and Excel
- Strong business consulting, analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Proven ability to facilitate cross-organizational collaboration to drive actionable and measurable results
- The ability to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of a high-growth SaaS business and create pragmatic and innovative solutions to complex business problems.
