The HubSpot Go-To-Market Facilitation Team is hiring a Facilitator in our Tokyo office or remote in Japan. As a Facilitator you will play an instrumental role in training our new employees in Japan on the HubSpot products and role-specific skills, as well as providing a remarkable and inclusive new hire experience.
We’re looking for someone who is obsessed with delivering best in class skills training! If you have a strong sense of autonomy, ownership, and dedication to helping sales and support teams get up to speed quicker, this is a role to consider. You will have autonomy to innovate facilitation techniques and play a pivotal role in setting up our sales and support teams for continued growth and scale.
In this role you get to…
- Facilitate our monthly Sales Foundations training program and have the opportunity to learn and facilitate other programs.
- Contribute to the development of HubSpot’s facilitation practices and content building
- Work autonomously as well as part of a large team
- Localize global presentations and eLearning resources from US English into Japanese
- Build working relationships across multiple departments and geos
- Support multiple avenues of training delivery including video, web-based, self-guided, virtual programs, and potentially in-person (Max 10%).
- Create an inclusive, welcoming, and accessible environment for HubSpot’s new hires.
- Stay up-to-date as a Subject Matter Expert in various aspects of HubSpot products
- Provide managers with feedback on new hire performance during training in order to guide their coaching
- Leverage new hire performance and survey data, along with feedback from Japan new hires and managers to identify areas for improvement.
We are looking for people who...
- Are comfortable having effective conversations with a variety of people across the business
- Are able to communicate with global teams
- Can navigate ambiguous situations with minimal direction
- Are experienced in running different types of workshops. Examples for the interview will be requested.
- Have strong presentation skills, ability to “own the zoom room” and keep attendees engaged
- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Possess strong knowledge of sales processes, ideally with SaaS or technology products
- Have a strong understanding of how CRM systems work, preferably HubSpot
- Can demonstrate excellent personal organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Show a steadfast attention to detail - you catch the little things others don’t
- Have very strong written & oral communication skills
- Have a growth mindset and a great sense of humor
- Business-level English proficiency and Fluent Japanese
Bonus if you have…
- Experience working globally
- Experience working cross-functionally
- Can present in both English and Japanese
- Public speaking experience
- Strong experience with effectively facilitating onboarding and/or training
