HubSpot is looking for an Event Technology Production Manager, focused on supporting the department in creating a frictionless digital attendee experience across our events portfolio. This role will support the management of areas including our website, mobile app, registration tool, and more! We are looking for someone with strong technical problem-solving skills, an ability to manage effectively through ambiguity, and a passion for learning and championing complex SaaS tools. This role will also support the planning and implementation of new product launches and requires close cross-functional collaboration with other Global Events stakeholders to ensure milestones are executed with a high degree of satisfaction, on time, and on budget.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Provide comprehensive production support for key event technology components, ensuring seamless operation of websites, registration tools, event mobile apps, speaker and sponsor resource centers, payment management systems, and more.
- Ensure the stability and integration of the tech stack, addressing any interruptions immediately. Utilize tech stack expertise and vendor relationships to effectively consult on the strategy and implementation of the full digital attendee experience for each event.
- Evaluate requests from across the Global Events team to embrace innovative ideas to uplevel the user experience all while staying within budgetary and scoping parameters to avoid disruption to the smooth launch of key milestones.
- Manage vendor partnerships that power various product needs, including discovery and scoping, production timelines, design direction, and budgeting.
- Lead adjunct projects that enhance our attendee products (i.e. interactive map, INBOUND mobile app graphics, Partner Day registration, etc.) and research/present innovative ways to enhance them (i.e. AI tools).
- Collaborate with internal technical teams, such as Martek, Systems Ops, and Fintech to ensure the technical feasibility and scalability of our digital properties.
- Provide resourcing and training for other team members on our tools and update the wider team on process changes YoY as our products evolve.
- Work with Procurement, Legal, Security, and Finance on new vendor contracts, renewals, and amendments, and archive POs, invoices, and signed documents.
- Maintain focus on enhancing the attendee journey by integrating innovation and high standards through all stages of tech production.
- Deliver top-notch project management and operational support for all event-related tech initiatives, analyzing post-event outcomes for growth opportunities and best practice implementation.
- Develop an overall understanding of our events to provide customer service support, answering attendee email and employee slack questions.
- Maintain and expand a database of event tech vendors and industry leaders, staying informed and identifying new and innovative strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail throughout product lifecycles with thorough, easy-to-follow product resources tailored to each departmental need and diligent QA plans.
- Field questions about our products both in our external event Help inboxes and internal Slack channels, create tutorials and present demos in live webinars, and prepare canned communications.
- Act as registration and technical support onsite to resolve attendee issues and inquiries.
Skillset Requirements
- Experience working with some event tech tools (ex: registration, mobile app, etc.)
- Vendor management experience
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- A knack for developing robust documentation (both for external attendee enablement and internal training materials)
- Thorough understanding of UX/UI with a keen eye for web and mobile design
- Technical product management experience, including agile methodology and how to properly QA products and run ticket triaging systems
- Intermediate-level experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is not required, but would be a plus
- Comfortability learning and utilizing digital project management tools (bonus if candidate has experience with Airtable and Asana)

Cash compensation range: 70000-105000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
