HubSpot is looking for a German-speaking Marketing Manager to grow our content initiatives in the DACH region. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive the overall content strategy, focusing on demand generation, thought leadership, and video content diversification You will be responsible for ideation, execution, optimization, reporting, and developing key strategic initiatives, ensuring our content aligns with regional trends and goals.
This role sits within the International Growth Team and reports directly to the DACH & LATAM Manager, working closely with cross-functional teams including content creation team, regional marketers, learning platform team (Academy), and more. Success in this role requires a high level of strategic thinking, SEO & content expertise, project management, communication, and creativity.
Example projects include developing a comprehensive YouTube content strategy to boost engagement and watch time, leading blog content growth through data-driven insights, and collaborating with internal teams to launch targeted campaigns that drive signups and qualified leads in the region.This position is integral to driving the German HubSpot blog’s success through data-backed insights. By shaping the editorial direction, the person in this role directly influences the blog’s ability to generate leads and maintain its standing as a thought leader in the market. Beyond traditional blog content, the role extends to managing the YouTube and Academy content strategy.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Create and execute strategies to grow our educational content on the German HubSpot Blogs, focusing on delivering valuable keyword insights and expanding our reach through high-quality, engaging materials.
- Spearhead content strategy for our German YouTube Channel by identifying topics our audience is searching for and figuring out how to create videos that will rank. Manage insights and reporting on our Academy content, ensuring optimization for engagement and lead generation.
- Provide regular performance insights, identify key learnings, and optimize future initiatives to increase lead generation, signups, and engagement metrics on the HubSpt blogs, German YouTube channels and our learning platform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and manage relationships with external partners to drive success.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is fluent in German and English
- Has a positive attitude & team player and winning mentality
- Is an agile and experimental learner, bringing new ideas to the team and moving at a fast pace to hit aggressive goals
- Has a proven track record of creating and managing content strategies, particularly in thought leadership and educational content
- Has deep knowledge of SEO best practices to optimize content for higher visibility and traffic, enhancing the effectiveness of the blog and video content strategies.
- Excels in project management, with the ability to oversee complex initiatives from concept to completion.
- Is deeply analytical, with experience in generating insights reports that shape content strategy and drive decision-making.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Possesses strong communication skills, crafting compelling acquisition marketing messaging and assets that reflect a distinct brand voice.
