HubSpot's associate Solutions Engineers support a consultative sales process. We provide interested prospects with the right information and context at the right time to help decision-makers fully understand all that HubSpot offers them. In this role, you will demonstrate and articulate the value of our solutions to our Sales Org and support the growth of the Presales org at HubSpot. In this role, you will need to:
- Work internally to support deals generated by all segments of our sales team (Small Biz, Mid Market, Corp) that are <$2,000 MRR
- Drive engagements with reps via Slack & Internal Calls (Zoom & Slack Huddles) to best support deals
- Work with the solutions engineering team to support a high volume of technical questions that arise from fast-paced deals
- Consult on complex use cases and make product recommendations to move deals forward
- Support reps to succeed through technical discovery and demos, including building custom assets for reps to leverage during prospect calls when needed.
- Provide valuable feedback to our product team by being the voice of the prospect
- Develop relationships with our sales team & sales leadership, and work with them to ensure they are delighting our customers & prospects
What are the role requirements?
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and Portuguese are required. Spanish is a plus.
- Strong business acumen and storytelling skills.
- Strong HubSpot product knowledge.
- Ability to conceptually understand technical concepts and overall technologies.
- Such as how API works and backend/frontend systems.
- Experience in a technical role, Sales role, customer-facing role, or problem-solving role:
- For example as a Customer Support Specialist, Product Expert, Customer Onboarding Specialist, Customer Success Manager, Inbound Success Coach, BDR, Growth Specialist.
- Previous HubSpot knowledge preferred.
