The Mission:

This role will own the operating system, operational transparency and overall flow of running the Flywheel Product organization. In service & partnership to the Vice President of Business Systems, the Program Manager in this role will influence, coordinate, standardize and support all programs and initiatives necessary to run a seamless, fast paced and highly collaborative organization.

The Challenge:

The Program Manager owns the operational excellence of programs and makes recommendations to help leadership make decisions. They help make our team (and by extension, our whole 2000+ person department) more productive and efficient. They’re passionate about helping others, think of creative solutions to problems, and act as a positive force across the team and the whole department. They constantly ask, ‘How can we make this better? How can we make this run smoother?’ They’re highly detail oriented, have strong communication skills, and care deeply about building a successful and effective product & engineering organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the operations program area strategy, roadmap & guide new program ideas from an initial concept to pilot and future iterations in our entire Business Systems organization (Flywheel, Fintech, EmployeeTech & Data Warehouse Infrastructure)
  • Build a strong culture of trust and operational transparency by developing and driving scalable two-way communication channels between internally-facing technology teams (Business Systems organization) and their users (Sales, Marketing, Support and Success teams who serve HubSpot’s customers). This will involve developing, curating and marketing content across different mediums to ensure that our reps are kept up to date on the systems and data being developed for them.
  • Partner with leaders on our team to streamline operations and priority planning
  • Provide data analytics for programs (e.g., hiring optimization, new hire programs) upon request
  • Bring ideas and solutions on ways to improve the operations of the product, engineering & design leadership and executive team
  • Maintain a high velocity of support while balancing multiple channels of requests and communication from colleagues, Product/Engineering leaders, and employees

  • Proven record of program management experience in business operations
  • Strong business problem solving and analytical mindset
  • Successfully built and delivered people-focused programs
  • Know how to balance programs with lots of stakeholders and details
  • Bring a creative approach to connecting internal customer feedback to program development
  • Bring a data-driven approach to problem solving; are comfortable navigating ambiguity and enjoys problem solving
  • Demonstrate leadership skills, and the ability to make decisions, test assumptions, and iterate - often without perfect information
  • Enjoy building trust with internal customers, collaborators, and cross-functional teams
  • Communicate in a way that brings clarity and excitement for stakeholders and partners
