HubSpot is looking for a Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for our Product and Strategy team who will report directly to the SVP of Financial Planning & Analysis. This person will be the leader of the Product and Strategy FP&A team, supporting our CTO, CSO, and CPO and their teams This person will be the leader of the global Product & Engineering FP&A team, supporting these departments and initiatives with strategic business planning (pricing, M&A, business model changes, new business model evaluation etc), COGS Planning (COGS infrastructure frameworks, geo expansion frameworks) and FP&A accountabilities.

This is a hands-on financial management position, playing a lead role in being a strategic business advisor to our CTO, CSO, and CPO. Leading a strong team, the Senior Director will be an integral part of providing financial support and thought leadership at scale at the growing speed of our CRM platform business.

The Senior Director will partner with the distributed business team and help them make smart decisions as well as continue to develop and empower a team in supporting HubSpot’s business.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Be a strategic advisor to CTO, CSO, and CPO with key decisions such as Pricing, business model changes, COGS optimization, Resource allocation
  • Establish PnLs that empower with holding accountability
  • Help manage the annual financial planning process as it pertains to budgets for the teams across Revenue and Opex
  • Continue to build a finance team that is highly effective, resilient and is set up to scale
  • Build a team that is geo-dispersed and supports 100% of HubSpot’s revenue
  • Be a thought leader in setting up frameworks to drive accountability across the Business

We are looking for people who have:

  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus
  • Ability to operate in fast paced environments
  • White space thinking and modeling
  • Previous leadership & management experience
  • Software/SaaS/technology industry experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship building skills
  • Sound understanding of the SaaS business model and key metrics and how that flows through the financial statements
  • Strategic planning, modeling and analytical ability
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Willingness to roll-up your sleeves when work needs to get done

Cash compensation range: 241000-386000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
