  • Develop an in-depth understanding of HubSpot’s products, business model, long-term strategy, and financial operations while improving financial acumen of our key business stakeholders
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, Flywheel, and other G&A teams, ensuring transparency, alignment and clear communication of core requirements for all key projects or programs
  • Act as an translator between Finance stakeholders (Accounting, Tax, AP, Payroll, Internal Audit, FP&A) and non-Finance business partners, conveying financial concepts in “plain language” with contextualized examples and real-world application
  • Lead a team of Finance Program Managers who have well-established cross-functional relationships as they drive the financial components of HubSpot’s strategic objectives, serving as a mentor, stepping in with daily execution support, and providing a first point of escalation and incremental subject matter expertise on a frequent basis
  • Develop a long-term vision for the Finance Program Management function, and be a key driver of the overall goals and strategy of the broader Financial Operations org
  • Effectively communicate status updates and relevant details to Finance and cross-functional senior leadership for all strategic projects

We’re looking for people that have:

    • Program management, working cross-functionally with stakeholders with a wide variety of skill sets and seniority
    • People management of high-performing, diverse individual contributors working on varied, fast-paced projects; solid or dotted-line reporting structures acceptable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize and articulate complex technical information for non-technical audiences and senior leadership
  • Propensity to develop a wide range of advocates for initiatives across organizations & levels, leveraging advocates as a "force multiplies" to extend influence and further program reach
